Son of a Glitch!

The failure of the Obamacare website has brought new prominence to the word "glitch".  No matter what goes wrong on the exchange site, president Obama and his people call it a glitch.  It used to be that glitches were minor problems.  You know the type of error of which I speak; your computer freezes once every fifty times you use it-- that's a glitch.  So how did the Obamacare exchange become "glitch central"?

First it was impossible to get on the site at all.  That's a glitch.
Second, once you got on the site, it was impossible to leave it.  That's a glitch.
Third, if you tried to sign up for an account, the site would not let you.  That's a glitch.
Fourth, if you put your information into the system to get an account, the system did not keep it safe and confidential.  That's a glitch?
Fifth, if you wanted to see what your insurance would cost, the system gave out the wrong information.  That's a glitch???
Sixth, if you managed to sign up for an account, the system would not let you buy insurance.  That's a glitch.
Seventh, if you think you signed up for insurance, many times you really did not since the site just dumped the data once you thought you were done.  That's a glitch.

So, in summary, you can't get on or off the site; you can't open an account; you can't get accurate information about available insurance; and you can't actually buy insurance if you try.  Then to top it all off, the system gives out your personal information to others.

It's not a glitch.  It's a total disaster.
