The Voice of America is reporting that the Free Syrian Army repelled an attack by the Assad forces, Iranian forces and Russian aircraft today. The Free Syrian Army destroyed at least 10 government tanks with anti-tank weapons supplied by the USA. Nevertheless, the Free Syrian Army spokesman denounced the abandonment of the group by America. According to the spokesman, the USA had agreed with the group to form a safe haven in northern Syria for them a few weeks back, but since the Russians intervened that plan has been abandoned.
