For years, president Obama has had a constant refrain he uses in response to each scandal that happens. When the IRS was exposed for targeting Conservative and Christian groups, Obama announced that he was shocked and angry and had learned of the problem in news reports. Then he said that he would have an investigation to get to the bottom of the mess. When it was disclosed that the VA hospitals had two lists for appointments, one that kept veterans waiting up to a year to see the doctor and another one made public that showed no more than a two week wait time, Obama again said that he had learned of the problem from the media reports. Obama used that line again when he was first asked about the Justice Department doing surveillance of the Washington office of the AP and all the records of Fox News reporter James Rosen. It is one of the less believable and most annoying of Obama's ploys.
Now, Jeb Bush is trying to use the same ploy. Chuck Todd asked Bush about the memo attacking Marco Rubio that his campaign "leaked" to the press. Bush responded "I didn't see it." When Todd asked again, Bush just said "I didn't see it." His campaign is attacking Rubio, but America is supposed to believe that Bush knew nothing at all about that move.
Jeb Bush used to have a good reputation as an honorable and decent man. Now, he's morphed into an Obama clone. He can't seem to do anything right. Nothing he tries seems to work. He no longer is willing to take responsibility for the actions of his team. Next week, I expect that he will just start telling lies about everything. The following week, he will probably start denouncing America's police for "brutality and racism".
Bush really needs to get out of the race.
