A Switch In Minnesota

The Minneapolis Star Tribune poll is out today.  It asks voters in Minnesota who they favor for president.  Among Democrats, Hillary Clinton has a big lead over Bernie Sanders.  Among Republicans Marco Rubio is in the lead with Ted Cruz in second.  That's quite a switch from so many other state polls that show Donald Trump in the lead.  In fact, this is the first poll in a long time in which Trump is not in first or second.  The poll also does head to head matchups.  In these polls, Rubio crushes Hillary, and Cruz is ahead by a few points.  Both do substantially better than Trump.  The most surprising statistic in the poll, however, is that among women voters, Rubio and Hillary are tied.

This is just one poll, and it could easily be wrong or change in the future.  Nevertheless, it does show that Hillary is a flawed candidate who could lose a Democrat bastion like Minnesota.  It also shows that Marco Rubio is the Republican best situation to beat Hillary.
