Last night, a self described devout Moslem attacked and shot a policeman at random in Philadelphia. The shooter told police who later captured him that he was inspired by ISIS and acted in the name of Islam.
That's bad enough. Look at this, however. Here is the tweet that the new mayor of Philadelphia sent out a few hours ago:
"Last night’s shooting had nothing to do with any faith. It was a violent assault by a criminal. I urge all Philadelphians to stand together."
Is he kidding? The terrorist says he's part of ISIS and acted in the name of Islam. That had nothing to do with any faith? That's delusional. Of course the attack had to do with Islam. What does Mayor Kenney think happened? Is the shooter really a secular atheist who is just pretending to be a Moslem?
Philadelphia is in big trouble if its mayor cannot even recognize reality.
