Another Body Blow For Hillary -- 13 Hours

Things have been going from bad to worse for Hillary Clinton and her campaign.  Her poll numbers have been slipping badly.  She may be indicted, or at least that's what the leaks seem to indicate.  The public still views her as an untrustworthy liar.  Bill's record of sexual abuse towards a great many women and Hillary's ensuing attacks on any woman who accused Bill of wrongdoing has undermined Hillary's claim of standing for women's rights; in fact, undermine is too weak a word there.  Maybe annihilated would be better.  Now comes another smash into Hillary and her campaign in the form of the new movie "Thirteen Hours".  It is the story of the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi.  It's likely to get a big audience and they will see that attack from the perspective of the people on the ground at the scene.  The movie shows a State Department installation in Benghazi with woefully inadequate security.  (That would be Hillary's responsibility.)  It shows an attack by terrorists in a frightening onslaught that goes on and on and on.  It also shows that despite a great many calls for help, there was no action taken by Washington.  Hillary and president Obama just did not send help.  Lastly, it reminds everyone that there was no protest about a video and that Hillary's story about the video was just another lie.

Hillary is not even a character in the movie; she doesn't have to be.  By humanizing the story, the movie will make clear to millions who see it why Hillary's lie to the families about the video was so terrible.  It will remind people that on her watch the consulate was left virtually undefended in a very dangerous city.  It will remind people that when that proverbial "3 AM phone call" came, neither Hillary nor Obama took action.  They just sat there while the ambassador and others were killed.

Last night, the first fruits of this movie were seen on The Kelly File on Fox News.  The mother of one of the men killed in Benghazi was interviewed about the movie.  She broke down in anguished tears but then screamed that Hillary is a liar.  It was riveting.  There is no one who could believe that this bereaved mother was playing politics.  She was calling out Hillary Clinton for what she had said and done.  It's the kind of television that could change a great many votes.
