Angry Birdbrains 2

First came the interview with the Atlantic in which Mrs. Clinton criticized president Obama's failure in Syria to help the more moderate rebels and how that led to the current problem with ISIS.  She also criticized Obama's foreign policy in general.  The joke, of course, is that Hillary was a principal architect of that policy but now she wants us all to believe that she had nothing to do with it and even fought against it.  Yeah, right. 

Then came the response from core Obama land.  David Axelrod who is clearly one of the leaders of the core Obama group tweeted a slap back at Hillary.  She had said in the interview that "don't do stupid stuff" is not a foreign policy organizing principle.  The voice from core Obama said pointed out that Hillary's vote to authorize the Iraq War in the first place was "stupid stuff", and he hung that vote around her neck for the first time since the war between core Obama and the Clintonistas ended with the victory by core Obama in 2008.

So what's next?  It seems that Hillary called president Obama yesterday to tell him that she certainly meant no criticism of his foreign policy in the interview.  She also said that she was honored to have been able to serve in his administration helping to develop that policy.

So this round seems to go to core Obama in the game of angry birdbrains.  Hillary took a shot, got a response from core Obama and immediately backed down.  Seeing her in action just reinforces the truth that she helped design our foreign policy.  After all, with Hillary as secretary of state and Obama as president, America was the world leader in backing down.
