Looking Back

Watching the news this evening, I was struck by the lunacy of the administration's response to the execution of James Foley. The Obama administration actually sent the Attorney General out to talk about the investigation of the "crime" and the prosecution of the perpetrator.

Think about that for a moment.  Eric Holder said that the FBI would be investigating the matter.  Now remember that the execution took place in Syria in an area under the control of ISIS.  How many FBI agents are we sending to Syria to question the ISIS fighters about what happened?  Obviously, the answer is NONE.  This is not a proper subject for a criminal investigation.  It is something that needs to be answered by the use of military power, if at all.

I got to thinking about how president Obama would have handled past terror attacks.  After 9-11, would Obama and Holder have sent the FBI to Afghanistan instead of the Special Forces?  It sure sounds like that.  After all, Obama would have told us that there would be no boots on the ground in Afghanistan (at least if he could take the time out from his golf game).

The whole thing is a joke.
