Watching the coverage of the rioting in Ferguson, Missouri, I was struck by the obvious point that seems never to be made: the governor of the state who took control of the situation many days ago is a Democrat. It is under his leadership that the state police have been dealing with the situation like a military campaign. Then, of course, you have the national leadership which is also Democrat. The Justice Department has stepped in at a few points, but there is still no peace in Ferguson. Clearly, this is all part of the Democrats' war on African Americans.
Okay, I know this is silly. It is worth pointing out, however, because it also shows the silliness of the war on women storyline. No party is warring against any racial, ethnic or gender group. The charges need to stop.
By the way, I looked for an article or report of some kind that mentioned that essentially all the elected officials involved with dealing with the problems in Ferguson were Democrats. I couldn't find even one. Just imagine the same being true if they were all Republicans.
