Confirmation of the Damage Done by Team Obama

Last night, the White House "sadly confirmed" that there had been a rescue attempt made earlier this summer by American special ops forces.  The story line from the White House talking points is that the mission was announced because the media was about to report on the story.  This is just another lie from Obama and his team.  Who was it who leaked the story?  The special ops guys?  I don't think so.  The men in special ops are so closed mouthed that they don't even tell themselves when they go on a mission.  That leaves only two sources:  the Pentagon and the White House.  Stories don't leak from the Pentagon months after the fact.  They do leak from the White House when there is a political advantage to be gained for Obama.  That is what happened here.  No amount of phony blame on the media changes reality.  The story came directly from the White House.

What is important, however, is that telling this story DAMAGES American security.  I have now heard multiple interviews with military and intelligence analysts who say that leaking this story tells ISIS that America may launch an operation to try to get back the remaining hostages.  During the failed mission, there was no way for ISIS to know for sure who had attacked.  There was also no way for them to know for sure why the attack had taken place.  Now ISIS knows.  You can be sure that if there is another attack launched to rescue hostages, ISIS will be ready.  How many men in special ops will pay the price for Obama's attempt to gain some political advantage?
