After yesterday's statement by president Obama about the beheading of James Foley, Obama rushed off to the golf course for another 18 holes. It was unseemly and inappropriate. Amazingly, even such staunch Obama supporters as CNN and the New York Daily News noticed. The News ran a front page comparing Obama playing golf to the grief endured by Foley's parents. CNN tweeted a photo of Obama on the course and noted that he went there directly from making the statement about the murder.
It certainly seems that Obama no longer cares about anything other than golf. It does not take a genius to understand that running to the golf course is not always the best thing to do. If even Obama media types understand how bad this looks, then no one in the White House is even trying any longer.
