Procrastinator...err president Obama might want to take time out from golf and fund raising to actually focus on the strategy to be used to deal with ISIS. Today, ISIS released a second video showing it beheading an American journalist. This time the victim is Steven Sotloff of Florida.
We mourn his loss, and we pray for comfort for his family. We also wonder how many more people will have to beheaded before Obama gets his own head into the issues facing the USA in the Middle East. What is it going to take for Obama to make a decision?
This is not fun and games. People are dying. Thousands have died in Iraq and hundreds of thousands in Syria. Now Americans are dying too. If it is humanitarian to drop food to Yazidis on a mountain, isn't it also humanitarian to try to decide how to protect innocent American civilians?
There is no limit to the outrage we feel towards the lackadaisical approach of Obama to this crisis. It is clear that he is more worried about possible political fallout from any decision before the elections than he is about protecting American lives.
