Bugging Trump Tower -- From Their Own Mouths

Since yesterday morning when President Trump tweeted about the wiretapping of his campaign offices in Trump Tower by the Obama Administration, the big push on the left has been to deny, deny, deny.  "Where's the proof of wiretapping?" they scream in the mainstream media and in Democrat circles.  Obama announces that he never "ordered" the wiretapping of any American, NEVER!  That, of course, is just a cutesy way of saying someone in the DOJ ordered it.  Obama doesn't even say that he never heard of such a thing happening.  That's because he can't.

The New York Times said in a big article in the paper dated January 19, 2017, that federal surveillance intercepted “communications and financial transactions” during an investigation into Trump and supposed ties of his campaign to Russia.  Here's a key paragraph from the report:

"The FBI is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the CIA and the Treasury Department's financial crimes unit.  The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House."

So the voice of the media/Democrat complex itself reports (1) that the Obama administration had a massive investigation underway.  Once you have FBI, NSA, CIA and Treasury in the mix, there is no way that this was a small, low-level matter.  President Obama and the White House surely knew that all these federal agencies were investigating Trump and the supposed Russian connection.  Indeed, we know from other sources that Obama ordered the investigation be done.

The Times also reports that (2) no wrongdoing was found despite the massive effort.

Lastly, the Times reports that (3) reports based on some of the wiretapped communications were given to the White House.  That means that Obama and his people knew all about the wiretaps.  They can try to hide behind the façade of "not ordering" the wiretaps, but that is a false defense.  President Obama knew that the security and intelligence services of the USA WHICH HE COMMANDED had wiretapped the campaign of his political opponent and then of the President Elect of the USA.  Remember, the way these intelligence reports get written, the existence of the wiretaps and what was heard would be splashed across the reports given to the White House.

Simply put, if the media/Democrat complex wants "proof" of wiretapping, they can just read it in the New York Times.
