It sure did not take long for Hillary ("say anything") Clinton to back away from her claim that she and Bill were "dead broke" when Bill's term in the White House ended so that they were having difficulty getting money to buy a house and pay for Chelsea's college education. The claim was an obvious lie (which I explained earlier today in a prior post). Hillary's quick retreat from her prior claim, however, proves that she fully understands that this was one lie that she could not get away with.
