In a truly hilarious bit of theater, articles appeared in the last two days describing how president Obama "forced" Hillary Clinton to go along with telling lies about Benghazi in order to avoid damaging his re-election campaign. According to the latest story from "informed sources", Hillary consulted with Bill before agreeing to tell the lie about the youtube video but then realized that she had no choice but to go along with Obama. This has to be the biggest pile of BS to come from the Clintons in a long, long time.
It is amazing that Team Clinton would want to portray Hillary as an unwilling participant in a Benghazi lie and cover up. Sure, it takes the full onus of the Benghazi lie off Hillary's plate, but it still makes her (1) too weak to stand up to Obama, (2) too unethical to realize that she had to be honest with the public, and (3) too self important to conclude that sometimes it is more important to do the right thing than to further one's own career. Team Hillary's effort to put the blame for Benghazi on Obama makes Hillary look like an unprincipled politician who cares not about America.
Indeed, the story is so bad from Hillary's perspective that I wonder if it is not being leaked by folks who want to get rid of both Obama and Hillary. Most likely culprit there is vice president Biden.
