On Sunday, we were told by president Obama that there will be no "boots on the ground" in Iraq. One day later we hear that Obama is sending 250 troops to Iraq. One day, ONE DAY LATER!!!!
The only way to make sense of this sort of scatter-brained behavior by the president is to conclude that the troops will go, but they won't be allowed to wear shoes. That way, there will be no boots on the ground, but the troops will be there. This is truly unfair. The troops who go to Iraq are defending the USA. They deserve to have shoes.
Let's all contact the White House to demand that these men get to bring their boots to Iraq.
