Something Important to Keep in Mind

Here is the name of the day:  Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

This man is the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq and Syria.  He is the man behind the seizure of the cities of Mosul and Tikrit in Iraq by al terrorist forces.  He is the leader of the group that has carried out mass beheadings of people captured in those two cities.  He is the head of the group that has taken the Turkish consulate and now holds hostage the diplomats from Turkey and many other Turks who had sought refuge at the diplomatic compound.  He is in charge of creating a Sunni Islamic caliphate following Sharia law in eastern Syria and northern Iraq.  He is also the man whose forces may be marching on Baghdad at this very moment.

One more important fact about Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi:  he is a former prisoner of the United States army.  He was captured during the early days of the Iraq War and was released as part of the withdrawal from that country that president Obama completed after he took office.  In other words, it is a former prisoner of the USA who is most responsible for bringing down the Iraqi government that was elected after America defeated the terrorists in Iraq.

Next time some fool like Hillary Clinton tells us that the five Taliban terrorist leaders that Obama swapped for Bowe Bergdahl are not a threat to the USA, just remember the name.  Once again, it is ABU BAKR AL-BAGHDADI.
