Out Of Control or Out of Their Minds?

The Democrats have gone around the bend.  It's official.  Senator Ron Wyden, a Democrat, just used his Senate prerogative to put a "hold" on the nominee for undersecretary of the Treasury who would be in charge of anti-terrorism and sanctions.  Let's make this clear:  In the Treasury Department, there is an official whose job it is to head the group that tracks terrorists and enforces sanctions.  The Democrats are now officially blocking that position from being filled.  First, they slowed down all prior appointment confirmations so that positions like this one remain vacant.  Now, the Democrats are actually stopping the appointment of a person who would fight terrorists and enforce the sanctions that, in many cases, the Democrats themselves voted for.  The hold is supposedly connected to the Russia/Trump investigation, but since there is no evidence on which to base such an investigation, it seems more than strange that the Democrats would use that reasoning.

What is actually happening is that the Democrats are still so angry that Trump won and Hillary lost, that they are engaged in an all out war on Trump and his administration.  The problem is that the Democrats' war hurts America.  What will they say if there is a terror attack that could have been stopped if this position had been filled?  The answer, of course, is that the Democrats will blame Trump if that happens.  The truth, though is that it will be their fault.

I wonder if the Democrats are merely out of control or if they are truly out of their minds.  It's looking more and more like the latter.
