CNN has an article today about the coming disaster of the GOP healthcare plan. The article is written by someone who claims to be a doctor, but it's filled with nonsense and faulty logic. For example, the author complains about the claim that no one will die because of a lack of access to health insurance and says that is demonstrably false. To "prove" this, he cites statistics that state that prior to Obamacare just under fifty thousand people without health insurance died each year. Remember, this guy is supposedly someone who graduated from medical school, so he ought to understand the concept of causation. I mean think about it. In the same years when 50 thousand people died without health insurance, more than two million people died even though they had health insurance. Under the same sort of "logic" that the author of the CNN article uses, this statistic proves that health insurance is a killer responsible for most deaths across America.
I'm not going to waste my time reviewing all the garbage that is in this article from CNN. Suffice to say that it is not worth the time it took to read the article.
