More News About Embassy Closures

News is just out that the USA is going to keep some of the embassies that were closed today shuttered until next Saturday.  Others will reopen tomorrow.  Once again, it makes no sense.

We have been told since this threat first arose that no one knows if embassies are the targets of the terror groups.  Of course, that makes me wonder why we shut 22 embassies if we had no knowledge that they were targeted.

Now, after one day when there was no attack, about half of the embassies in question are reopening.  Why?  Did we learn something today that now tells us that these embassies are safe?  Is this action being taken just so it will look like we know something?

A friend of mine speculated that the reason that the embassies were closed based upon a non-specific threat is to avoid having anything happen that might look like Benghazi.  In other words, my friend is speculating that this is a political shutdown to benefit president Obama.  Even for me, that is hard to believe.
