Let's Look At The Coverage Today

We will have to see later today for sure, but it seems likely that the House is going to pass the Obamacare repeal and replace bill this afternoon.  There is much that could be discussed about the merits of the bill, but that is not the subject of this post.  I want to focus on how the mainstream media covers the vote if it goes as expected and is passed.  We all saw the avalanche of negative stories discussing how President Trump suffered a major defeat when the bill was pulled before a vote about a month ago.  Many news outlets treated the episode as the beginning of the end of the Trump presidency.  So if the bill actually passes today, how will that news be covered?

Will it be portrayed as a major victory for Trump?
Will we hear what a masterful job was done to get all the GOP on board with this bill?
Will the focus be on flaws with the measure?  You know, will we see articles that say, in essence, that the bill just passed is a disaster for the American people?

My guess is that it will be the last choice listed above that will prevail.  Since Trump will have "won" the process, it will hardly be discussed.  Instead, we will get just a non-stop attack on the substance of the bill.  I will be curious to see if this is correct.
