Remember this statement:
No I think it was a brilliant stroke which in retrospect appears even more so, because look at what we accomplished.
That was Hillary Clinton just a few weeks ago in a TV interview in which she was asked about the "Reset" with Russia that she engineered together with president Obama. As America hit problem after problem with Vladimir Putin and the Russians, the interviewer asked Mrs. Clinton if, in retrospect, it had been a mistake to try to reset relations with the Russians. Hillary could not admit that the move -- her only claim to success as Secretary of State -- had been a flop, so she doubled down.
This morning, another Democrat woman, senator Dianne Feinstein of California, was asked about relations between the USA and Russia. DiFi's take on the current situation was quite different from that of Mrs. Clinton. According to senator Feinstein, the US/Russia relationship has dipped to a new low, much like conditions during the Cold War. As for Vladimir Putin, DiFi said this:
"The issue is, where is Putin? I would say, Putin, you have to man up. You should say if this was a mistake, which I hope it was, own up. even if it was, it was a horrendous mistake. … and it points out the futility of what is going on in Ukraine."
It sure doesn't sound like senator Feinstein recognizes what a "brilliant stroke" the reset was. Poor Hillary. She just can't catch a break. She spent four years travelling as Secretary of State and her only supposed "accomplishment" from that period has been revealed as the pure BS that it always was. And the news is coming from her fellow Democrats no less. Bill must really be biting his lip and feeling Hillary's pain.
