More Lunacy in the Middle East

Today, Hamas launched an attack using multiple missiles on a city of 250,000 people.  That is bad enough, but here's the crazy part.  The city that the Hamas terrorists targeted was Hebron.  In case you do not know, Hebron is the largest city in the West Bank area.  It is home to about 250,000 Palestinians and fewer than 1000 Jews.  The Israeli Iron Dome system shot down some of the missiles launched at Hebron, but some hit areas adjacent to the city.  No one was seriously hurt in the attack.

Why would Palestinian terrorists attack Palestinians in Hebron?  Is there some logic to this mess?  Clearly, this was not just some stray missile that went off course because there were at least six missiles fired almost simultaneously at the same target.  Some genius at Hamas Central decided that it would be a good thing to try to kill not only Israelis but also Palestinians.  The only rationale I can see for the attack is that Hamas was hoping to score a hit on Hebron and then claim that the Israelis did not bother to protect the Palestinians with Iron Dome.  Such an attack might kill scores of Palestinians, but for the crazies at Hamas, those deaths would not matter.

Someone should let Hamas know that they could make the biggest impact with a mass suicide pact in which all members of Hamas kill themselves.  If they do that, we can even all agree that we would call it a massive victory by Hamas.
