Things Get Worse and We Have...........................Obama and the Kids

More information has now come out on the shooting down of an unarmed civilian aircraft that was flying over the Ukraine.  It is becoming more apparent that the plane was shot down by a Buk missile fired either by Russian troops in support of the pro-Russian militias or by those militias themselves.  In the two days before the missile brought down the Malaysian Airlines flight, an AP reporter released a story detailing observations that these pro-Russian militias were receiving sophisticated ground to air missiles from across the border in Russia.  To be clear, missiles of the sort reported could not be purchased or obtained in any way from the Russian side of the border without the express permission and assistance of the Russian government.  To be blunt, what all this means is that most likely the Putin government in Russia at least made possible the killing of nearly 300 innocent civilians including over 20 Americans, and the Russian government may actually have carried out this crime.  In either case, this is a major violation of international law and may be an act of war by Russia against Ukraine and Malaysia. 

This heinous act cannot be left without a response from the USA.  Nearly two dozen Americans are now dead due to the acts of the Russian government.  To be careful, America needs to make sure that the information which we have on the attack is the most complete possible.  That is not an invitation to president Obama to announce that he is launching another of his never-ending "investigations" into the event.  We need a fast investigation and a quick response.  This time sanctions on Russia should actually have some bite.  It is inexcusable for a civilized country to promote attacks on civilian aviation.....period!

Let's hope that Obama and his so called advisors can get this right.
