News They Don't Cover

Here is a story that is getting no coverage but which everyone ought to know.  Yesterday and the day before, Egyptian troops killed 12 terrorists in the Sinai and captured over a dozen more in two separate incidents.  In both cases, the terrorists were from Hamas and they were in vehicles carrying missiles.  The terrorists say that their plan had been to fire on Israel from the Sinai.  Of course, those missiles would have come during the cease fire that was in effect yesterday.  So what that means is that instead of honoring the cease fire to which it agreed, Hamas was sending its terrorists to other countries and trying to fire missiles from there.  It is also possible that the Hamas forces were intending to fire on Egyptian targets.  The terrorists no doubt expect better treatment from the Egyptians if they were aiming to attack Israel rather than Egypt. 

It is also worth noting that Egypt is continuing to destroy the tunnels from Gaza into Egypt as it discovers them.  Hopefully, when the fighting is over, all of the tunnels out of Gaza will be gone.
