According to president Obama, one of the big benefits of Obamacare is that folks with pre-existing conditions will now be able to get affordable insurance. Until now, people living with ongoing diseases had to obtain their insurance through so called high risk pools run by the states. Insurance policies gotten through the high risk pools have higher premiums than regular insurance. Tonight, Jim Angle on Special Report did a story on the actual effect of Obamacare on the insurance obtained by the people in the high risk pools. What Angle found is that the monthly premiums for folks who now have high risk coverage will be going UP under Obamacare and that the deductibles under the insurance plans are also rising substantially.
Let me be clear. Despite the promise from Obama that Obamacare would make things easier for people with chronic diseases, the reality is quite different. These people are getting hit with higher premiums and higher deductibles. In other words, one of the biggest reasons given for enacting Obamacare turns out to be yet another lie from Obama.
It is overwhelming just how bad Obamacare is turning out to be.
