So we now learn that the DNI has apologized to Congress for lying to a congressional committee. DNI Clapper says that he told the lie to protect classified information. Of course, that's another lie to add to the list. It would have been easy to give the standard response of "I cannot discuss that subject" or "I have no comment" in response to the question. DNI Clapper knows this. Instead, he chose standard Obama/Democrat protocol of just telling a lie to coverup something he did not want known.
The truth is that telling a lie to Congress is a federal crime. Maybe this can all get referred to the FBI so that, after an investigation, the director can announce the Clapper has been cleared.
