I just came across a story about the head of Fox News, Roger Ailes, in which someone from New York magazine says that six women have come forward to claim that Ailes had propositioned them in the past in work situations. The stories are coming now because of the lawsuit filed by Gretchen Carlson against Ailes when her contract was not renewed.
But here's the thing. All but one of these supposed incidents are from 50 years ago. One is only 35 years old. None of the stories deal with Fox News or Ailes career there over the last 20 plus years.
None of the women have complained in the past; even today, only two are willing to give their names. That means we have 4 unnamed sources and two with names who both say that nothing ever happened between them and Ailes.
I knew when I first saw the news of the lawsuit by Carlson that the liberal media would go crazy trying to discredit Ailes. Nevertheless, if this is all they can come up with, Ailes looks like a boy scout. Hopefully, this story will soon die a natural death. It's a joke.
