President Trump's star on the Hollywood walk of fame has given rise to a great deal of nonsense in the last few weeks.
First, a fool destroyed the star and it was replaced. The guy who destroyed the star bragged about it and now he's been arrested and faces prison time for the crime.
Next the West Hollywood city council made a big point of passing a resolution calling for the star to be removed. Of course, there are two problems with that resolution. 1. The city council has no power to remove the star. 2. The star isn't even located in West Hollywood. It was all a meaningless PR stunt.
Now, last night, a street artist produced multiple copies of the Trump star and put them on blocks that have no other star. The President no longer has one star; he has over twenty. The fakes are good enough that many people can't tell them from the real thing.
All this over a star. People, it's just a star. It's a hokey star. The people in Hollywood need to find something else to occupy their time.
