Manafort Jury Can't Decide?

The jury sent a note to the judge today in the Manafort trial asking what they should do if they cannot come to agreement on a charge (there are 18).  There's no way of knowing if they've decided on some or most or none of the charges.  The note makes clear, however, that on at least some of the counts the jury is deadlocked.  That's another really bad sign for the prosecution.

Manafort could well still be convicted, but if you are betting on the outcome, the odds that there will be a hung jury or an verdict of not guilty just went up by 10-20%.

UPDATE:  The jury is back finally.  They couldn't decide on 10 counts but found Manafort guilty on 8.  That's enough.  Manafort is about as squeezed as he possibly could ever be.
