Bruce Ohr from the Justice Department is meeting behind closed doors today with a congressional committee. The Republican congressmen are there, but no Democrats showed up themselves. The Dems only sent staff to observe.
Remember who Bruce Ohr is. He was the number 4 person in the DOJ under Obama. His wife Nellie works for Fusion GPS and that connection was used to get information created by Fusion's contractor Steele to the FBI and DOJ. That's how much of the phony Trump Dossier made its way through the government. Fusion, of course, was the contractor hired by the Clinton campaign to come up with a phony smear against Trump. Midway through the smear effort, the FBI fired Steele as a source for misconduct on his part. At that point, Ohr started funneling phony info from Steele and Fusion directly to the FBI. In other words, Bruce Ohr was a high government official who used back door channels to get phony information paid for by Hillary Clinton to the FBI and CIA.
Given all that Ohr did in 2016, how can it be that the Democrats don't care enough to even show up to hear his testimony? The only answer has to be that the Democrats on the committee understand that there never was any collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. There was only an attempt by the DNC and Hillary to create the appearance of a supposed link between the two. Why show up to hear bad news. It's easier to keep going with the lie if you haven't heard the truth directly.
