The Next NY Socialist?

Julia Salazar is a Democrat running in the upcoming NY primary for a state senate seat in Brooklyn.  She presents herself as a Socialist like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.  She also presents herself as an anti-Zionist Jew who is an immigrant from Jewish family from Colombia.  There's an article in Tablet Magazine, however, about Salazar that should not be missed.  It seems that Salazar was born in the USA, is not Jewish, was the head of an anti-abortion group in college (just a few years ago) and was until recently a strongly Zionist evangelical Christian.  She also has other phony statements in her background but these should be enough to give you the picture.  She seems to be a complete phony, to the extent that she may be suffering from the same sort of delusions that was the case with the white woman who pretended to be black so that she could head the local branch of the NAACP.
