Keith Ellison, the Minnesota Democrat who is vice chair of the DNC and who is running for Attorney General of Minnesota was accused yesterday of abusing his former girlfriend. The accusation came from the son of the girlfriend. Ellison denied the charges. He also trotted out his ex-wife to say that she never saw anything like that. The woman who is the subject of all of this has now presented her story. She details a story of both physical and mental abuse that falls totally in line with the story told by her son.
Under the mantra of the left, we are supposed to believe the victim. Here is a victim who seems credible, although it is very early and there has been little chance to check out the entire story. If this were a Republican, you can be sure that the media would be filled with calls for him to resign. I checked CBS News to see what it was saying about Ellison. They have a large article about the Minnesota primary which covers the race to fill Al Franken's seat and the GOP primary for a sitting congressman who is embroiled in a controversy regarding things he said on the radio years ago before he was in Congress. There was no mention of Ellison at all. The number two person at the Democrat National Committee faces serious charges of abusing a woman and CBS News doesn't cover the story. That really says all that ever needs be said about the lack of honesty and integrity of CBS News.
