The judge in the Paul Manafort case was asked by the media today to disclose the names and addresses of the jurors. The media does this in the middle of deliberations? Why? The jurors are prohibited from talking about those deliberations, so why did the media need the names now?
The judge, however, just refused to give out this information. Indeed, Judge Ellis reported that he has received threats about the case, and he saw no need to open the jurors up to similar threats.
What is going on here? The judge is getting threats and the media wants to open the jurors up to the same thing?
It's disgraceful.
