Omarosa is out hawking her book. As part of the book tour she has released a batch of tapes she secretly made in the White House. This morning, I heard the tape of the White House Chief of Staff firing her. General Kelly says that the firing was for some "serious integrity issues." She doesn't ask which ones or protest, although that may be on another tape, to be fair.
The tape does not reveal much in the recorded conversations. General Kelly acts calmly and in a professional manner. So does Omarosa. What the tape reveals, however, is the terrible judgment of this woman. Omarosa actually secretly taped a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the White House. That's terrible. I don't know if her conduct was even legal, but that's a different issue. Still, if you want proof of "integrity issues", this tape clearly provides it.
The one question left open for me is this: why did the President bring Omarosa into the White House in the first place?
