At Least They Didn't Blame A Youtube Video

We got another bit of theater yesterday passed off as an Israeli war crime by people who ought to know better.  The news outlets all ran the story of an Israeli attack on a UN facility with many casualties.  The White House and the UN both condemned the attack.  The problem, however, is that the attack was staged by Hamas.  They brought in bodies of military age men from elsewhere and "arranged" them at the supposed site of the bombing.  When that arrangement was deemed insufficient, they went off and got the body of a child and placed her in the picture as well.  The child was not dead but was injured.  Instead of taking her to a medical center, they used her as a prop for a better propaganda picture.

This all sounds preposterous, doesn't it?  I thought so until I looked at the pictures and video in the story here at the israelmatzav site.  It is chilling to think that Hamas would care so little for an injured child that they would use her for propaganda rather than getting her treatment.

Both the UN and the Obama White House owe Israel an apology.  I don't expect one to be forthcoming.  Neither place likes admitting they were wrong.
