To describe the Obama administration as a bunch of morons is a disservice and an insult to morons everywhere. The level of stupidity displayed has been staggering. No one would believe that it could be possible for something even worse to be said, but then again.......
Secretary of State John Kerry yesterday actually said that the need to fight global warming especially with regard to Moslem-majority countries is set forth in the Bible in Genesis. You really cannot make this stuff up. Kerry, the secularist, is now telling us about the directions given by God in the first book of the Bible.
I went back to Genesis and looked in chapter 1, and was surprised to see that Kerry was right. All these years, I guess I had overlooked this verse. For those of you who also missed it, let me quote it for you:
"And God said, 'one day, man will create global warming, and it will not be good, especially for place where most people practice Islam. Go forth and regulate, so that the world will not heat up too much.'"
The truth is that Kerry is an ignoramus. For years, I called him the dumbest senator in the Senate (which is about as big an insult as one could possibly hurl at a politician given the "wisdom" of most of the senators. Even so, yesterday's statement is amazingly idiotic even by Kerry's standards.
If Kerry wants to talk about global warming, that is fine. Perhaps he could explain why he still accepts the concept of global warming now that all of the computer models on which that idea is based have been proven wrong by actual temperature data. Justifying the need to deal with supposed global warming based upon non-existent verses in the Bible, however, is sinking too low even for Kerry. And explaining how the Bible requires this effort in Moslem majority states when the Bible predates Islam by over a thousand years is even worse.
I have come to realize that president Obama chose Kerry for State and Hagel for Defense because with them around, he does not look as idiotic in comparison.
