With all the crises in the world today, I think it is important to recognize what people really thing is important, so here it is: Dunkin Donuts opened its second store in California today. I am not kidding. People lined up all night last night just to be among the first to get those donuts and bagels and coffee.
I like Dunkin Donuts. It is far better than Starbucks and much less expensive too. Still, standing in line overnight for a large iced coffee is not my idea of sane behavior.
Maybe this can be the answer to ISIS. We can open Dunkin Donuts stores across the Middle East and the ISIS fighters will be too busy standing in line to behead any other journalists. It sure sounds like a strategy that Obama would like.
